Brooke has had some appointments with her doctors and her specialists over the last few weeks. We have her appointment with dermatology next Wednesday.
At her 2 year well child visit, the pediatrician was super happy with her progress! She said "Brooke is caught up" which brought tears to my eyes. The 2 year mark is a huge milestone for preemies. By 2 years old, most developmental issues are known. Often times these kiddos catch up with their peers on developmental stages.
They even said that she is ahead of her actual age in language development and gross motor skills. I laughed when they told me that. Obviously she is... she has 2 sisters to keep up with!
The liver specialist is very pleased with her progress. Her ultrasound showed "no current hemangiomas" on her liver which is a true miracle since her liver was covered in them. The original diagnosis was explianed to us this way: Her liver is about the size of an Oreo cookie and it currently looks like the moon with all of the hemangiomas covering it.
So, this news was just a true miracle! Her liver enzyme labs also came back the "best they have ever been" which is another answer to prayer!
I will update after her dermatology appointment this week; however, I am expecting more good news!
She is such an amazing miracle.

Darn Monkey Bars!
Brynn had a little fall! We spent some time at the hospital getting x-rays and she left with this super cute walking shoe!
And now Brooke keeps limping around the house saying "me broken too".

"My Panties!"
We celebrated Brooke's attempt at potty training by getting her big girl panties which she calls "My Panties!" She is very excited about both her new panties and her sticker chart. Each of the girls had a sticker chart in the bathroom where they earn a sticker when they use the potty. Although I know we are very early in this process, it is kind of exciting to think that we are just months away from having no diapers!!! What a strange thought!
Some Outside Pictures.
Ainsley has discovered "Mermaid Hair" (wavy hair). This means that we must have a bath/shower every night, french braid 3 seperate braids in her hair, let them dry overnight and then take the braids out in the morning. All of these steps equal "Perfect Mermaid Hair"!

"Tour the School"
We went to Ainsley's new school (for next year) for the "Tour the School" event. It was a lot of fun to see her interacting with the teachers and principal and meeting some of her future classmates. The principal dressed like a clown and had the kids make "clown faced" cookies. Brynn and Brooke went along for the fun...
