Lots of Outside Time...

We are spending most of our summer days playing outside. Sometimes we go to the swimming pool, but many days we just hang out here. We are enjoying sidewalk chalk, water toys and lots of popsicles!

Last Day of School

A few pictures from the girls' last day of school...
Ainsley will be at a new school next year. Brynn will have 1 more year at her current school and Brooke will be joining her!
Brynn ended up having a wonderful year with excellent teachers! She made some awesome friends too.

March of Dimes

We had a wonderful time walking with the March of Dimes again this year. It is a foundation that focuses on preventing premature birth and birth defects. We joined their efforts after Ainsely was born early almost 6 years ago!

A few years ago they had walkers submit pictures of their preemies for posters. They line the bridge on Main Street with these posters. We take pictures of the girls next to their poster every year.
Some of them are of kids like ours who have made it... and others are of babies that didn't make it. Every year we stand next to families looking at their poster of their babies that didn't make it. It brings me to tears each time.

Soccer Stars!

Ainsley and Brynn played on the same soccer team this summer. It was their first time playing, and they both did AWESOME!!!

Ainsley's Graduation

Ainsley's Transitional Kindergarten class had an excellent graduation celebration! The directors and teachers did an awesome job with this class this year. She learned SO MUCH this school year! I am constantly impressed with her... reading new words, telling time on our kitchen clock that doesn't even have numbers, speaking in Spanish and Sign Language, the very impressive list of Bible verses she memorized this year... It is just incredible.

Ummm... Let's recheck that growth chart! I'm not sure either of them are tall enough to be hugging on eachother like that!
(Side note: This is the boy that Ainsley is going to marry. They are both going to be dentists when they grow up! I will post the graduation video soon which announces this to the entire crowd!)

Next year will be a big change... Ainsley will be in a new "big kid" school and my baby will be starting "school". Only a few more years before this...
