We decided at the last minute to go to St. Louis for the weekend. We have had a rough few weeks and thought some time away would be good for us... and it was. We had a wonderful time seeing and doing. We stayed in a hotel across the street from the arch, so we had a great view from our window. The girls loved being able to take pictures of the arch with their own cameras while standing on their bed.
We went swimming in the hotel pool, explored City Museum, ate at Old Spaghetti Factory, played at Magic House Children's Museum, saw the arch and made a stop at Trader Joe's on the way out of town. It was wonderful. We enjoyed just spending time with eachother... not at doctor's appointments or running to the next event. Just hanging out and being with eachother.
It was just what we needed.
