Goodbye Candy...

I read online about a few drop-off locations for leftover candy. We went through our HUGE pile of Halloween candy and chose a few pieces to keep and put the rest in bags to drop off. The candy will be shipped to troops stationed overseas. The girls were very excited to fill up bags for the troops. We talked about what it means to be a "soldier" and how much they must miss their family. We went to the drop-off location this afternoon and delivered about 8 pounds of candy and snacks! When we got back in the car, Ainsley said, "I think the soldiers are really going to like that stuff!"

Second Attempt...

Making the Rounds...

Each year we make the rounds and show off the girls to family. This year we started a day early so that we could see everyone, and then we ended at a neighbor's house for dinner and trick-or-treating. Here are some pictures of our stops...

Pumpkin Carving Round 2

So, our pumpkins from Round 1 got REALLY gross, so we decided to go for Round 2! My brother and my good friend came over and we did it all over again...
