Mommy's Birthday!

I had a wonderful birthday!
We woke up and I opened presents before church.

The girls picked out very special gifts for me. I also got a flash for my camera from family and a very special necklace that I have been eyeing for almost 3 years.
When I was pregnant with Brooke and on bedrest, my mom would tell the girls that I was on my "nest" and protecting my egg. I had to stay on my nest for a very long time... until the baby was ready to "hatch". I saw this necklace on a really cool website after Brooke was "hatched" and have wanted it ever since. I was so excited to get it. It is 3 eggs inside of a nest. I absolutely adore it!

The big girls sang at church that morning.

Then we had brunch. And then we went to Brecken's party.
After that we came home and celebrated my birthday. Each girl wanted to decorate their own cake for me, so we had 3 cakes!
(And apparently I missed the memo on not wearing clothes!)

Cousin Brecken's 1st Birthday!

We had so much fun celebrating Brecken's first birthday with him (on my birthday!). I told my sister that there is nothing I would have rather done on my birthday than celebrate this sweet baby's life!

It was also my cousin's birthday, so the 3 of us blew out candles together!

Yummy cake!

Super Fun Birthday Party!

We have had a lot of birthday fun this month!
This one is for the twin boys that live next door. The girls absolutely LOVE them! Well, Brooke may actually have a bigger crush on the dad, but she enjoys playing with the kids as well!
Their grandfather trains horses, so they had pony rides along with other super fun games!

And, again, Brooke has thrown herself on the floor...

Ainsley's Thanksgiving Show and Celebration

Ainsley is completely LOVING school. It is so much fun to watch her learn new things and enjoy the process. She is reading now and excelling in every area.
Her class put on a wonderful Thanksgiving show for the families. She was front and center and singing her little heart out (is anyone surprised?!?!)

It isn't an event if Brooke hasn't thrown herself on the floor...

Halloween Day...

We had all kinds of fun leading up to Halloween day... and lots of fun on the actual day!

Little Bo Peep did NOT lose her sheep. "It right here!"

We met up with some neighbors and went trick-or-treating in our neighborhood. It was so much fun! We love our neighborhood. There are tons of kids and wonderful families.

Some people turned their houses and garages into haunted houses...
(yes, I am aware Brynn has red eyes. I still haven't figured out editing on this computer. Just pretend it is part of the haunted house.)

Got to love houses that hand out king sized candy bars!

Why wait???

Look at all this candy?!?!?!

Pumpkin Carving Part 2...

We get together with the girls' cousins on the Bennett side each year to carve pumpkins and dress up in costumes. Here are some pictures of that fun night...

Ainsley's Classroom Halloween Party.

Here are some pictures from the Halloween party that Ainsley's class had. We had so much fun eating fun snacks and playing fall-ish games like pumpkin bowling. Brynn and Brooke dressed up like KU cheerleaders and joined in on the fun.

Carving Pumpkins Part 1...

"I not touch that. I no like it." -Brooke

The girls were fascinated with how this one cried!
