The "big girls" sang at church the Sunday after VBS ended.
Brooke had learned all of the songs during the week as well. She wanted to be up there singing as well...
She was upset when I told her she needed to stay where she was.
Then she decided she would just watch...
But then it just got too tempting...
And then she decided to pull her skirt up in front of the whole church!

Vacation Bible School
The girls attended VBS for the first time this year. You have to be 4 years old in order to go (unless your parents volunteer...). So, I felt sorry for Brooke and signed up to be a helper. I ended up teaching Arts and Crafts. I loved it! It made me miss teaching...
And Brooke got to go to "camp" just like her sisters!
We all had a great time that week and can't wait until next year!

Welcome Tooth Fairy!
Ainsley lost her first tooth! There was quite a bit of drama surrounding the entire process, but we finally got the tooth out and under her pillow for the tooth fairy. She has a special box for her first tooth, so we wrote a very nice letter to the tooth fairy asking her to let Ainsley keep the tooth. She was nice enough to leave the tooth, $2 and a "jewel". What a lucky girl!

Ernie Miller Nature Center
(I already did this post and don't know what happened to it...)
We went to the nature center near our house with some friends. It is really cool. They have an indoor building where you can see snakes and other animals and then there is a long beautiful walking trail. The kids love exploring it and finding interesting things!

Petting Zoo
This completely grossed me out... This kid was sitting in goat poop and would drop his binkie in the pebbles full of goat poop and the mom would hand it back to him and it went right in his mouth. SICK!!!

Oops...
Apparently I never posted about Brynn's birthday... it was in June.
She chose a Hello Kitty theme which is her current favorite.
We had a lot of fun getting stuff together for this party. Hello Kitty stuff is everywhere these days!
We sewed Hello Kitty pillows for all of the kids to decorate. It seemed like a really good idea until it was 3am and I was still sewing!
She had a small "friend" party and then a "family" party that afternoon.
It was a lot of fun.
I think that she felt very loved (which she obviously is!)

Professional Pictures from the Beach...
Jesse's parents hired a professional photographer. I was really hoping to get a great family picture to replace the one we have still up that doesn't include Brooke.
It didn't happen... although I am tempted to use one anyways.
Click on the pictures to see them larger...
There were some cute ones of the whole group and the grandchildren though.
