Breakfast of Champions!

This is Brynn's new favorite meal... a spoonful of butter and peanut butter! No crackers or bread.... just the butter.

Second Attempt...

I didn't get any good pictures of the three girls together on Halloween... so I tried again. It didn't work this time either. Jesse said I needed to forget it and call it quits. Here are a few that I got...

I LOVE MY MIDDLE CHILD!

I just adore Brynn. I can't say it enough. I seriously just love her to pieces!

Making the Rounds...

Each year we make the rounds and show off the girls to family. This year we started a day early so that we could see everyone, and then we ended at a neighbor's house for dinner and trick-or-treating. Here are some pictures of our stops...

Pumpkin Carving Round 2

Pumpkin Carving Round 1

We get together with Jesse's cousins and their kids each year to dress up and carve pumpkins. This year Brynn decided she wanted a blue pumpkin and she wanted to paint it instead. Once it dried, I covered it in Mod Podge. It is still looking wonderful. We may have it around until next Halloween!!!
We usually do it about a week before Halloween and make it into a fun party. Here are some pictures from this year...

Field Trip

Ainsley's class took a field trip to a nursing home last week. They dressed up in their Halloween costumes and sang for the residents. They also trick or treated the residents after their show and passed out handmade pumpkin cards. Ainsley had a wonderful time and loved that they clapped for them after every song! It was very interesting to watch the kids with the residents. Not one child seemed nervous or intimidated by the adults. It was a great experience for the class and as my friend said, "a win-win" for everyone! I was very pleased that they chose this field trip instead of a trip to the pumpkin patch...
